Disney Villainous is an incredible board game that gets better with each release. Check out these wicked Villainous upgrades and accessories to make it even more fun!
1. Upgraded cauldron and power tokens
As much as I love Villainous and generally think the components are amazing, the thin plastic cauldron lets it down! You can see my thoughts on everything Villainous in my Disney Villainous review.
Hi! This post may link to online stores. If you click a link and buy something, I may get a commission at no extra cost to you. See my Affiliate Disclosure for more details.
If the flimsy cauldron cheapens the game experience for you too, how about an upgrade? You can choose whether you want it in black or a stone granite. Both look great.
Whichever one you choose it will fit perfectly into the original Villainous box! Result!
Both cauldrons come with lush purple, green and black Power tokens too. They fit really nicely with the theme.
2. Cast iron cauldron
If you fancy a cauldron that looks more like the type of cauldron you’d brew a real witches potion in, then take a look at this one! What a delicious way to make Villainous feel extra special!
It will easily hold all the power tokens and make a beautiful centrepiece for your table! When you’re not using it for Disney Villainous, you could use it to hold candy at Halloween, perhaps while you play some of my favourite horror board games!
3. Velvet table cover
Feel opulent when you play as your favourite Disney Villain, with a decadent velvet table cloth over your table! Imagine those cards gliding over the table as you play!
Of course you can use it for your other games too to bring a touch of luxury to all your game nights!
Like all fabrics, velvet table covers vary hugely in price and quality and are available in loads of different colours like red, black, dark green and even gold!
For something a little cheaper, you could always check out this velvet table cloth on Amazon.
4. Colour changing lightbulb
One of my favourite board game accessories is my LED colour changing light bulb. Use a remote control to change the colour of the bulb to whatever colour you want to suit the mood of your game.
For Villainous, green, red and purple are the obvious choices for me!
5. Organizer insert
If you like to keep all your board game pieces perfectly organized, this organizer could be perfect for you!
It has room for up to 12 villain decks which will hold the base game and two expansions. The power token storage box replaces the cauldron, which in my book is not such a bad thing! It’s much nice to have them in a quality storage component!
How about showing off your Villainous love with a T-shirt? This one definitely looks Villainous inspired because it features all the characters from the base game, Wicked to the Core, Evil Comes Prepared and Perfectly Wretched.
7. Free Disney Plus+ Trial
If you’re anything like me, playing Villainous always makes you want to watch Disney films and listen to Disney movie soundtracks!
Indulge in that Disney love with a free trial of Disney+. You can try it free for 7 days and binge watch all those old favourites!
