1. Special Event card stands
As much as I love the cardboard Ever Tree, having the Special Event cards lying down is not hugely helpful for being to see them! Especially when you have a big group playing.
People need to lean across the table to pick them up and read them, knocking over meeples and scattering resources as they do!
Fortunately, there are some really cool stands for events cards.
I’m a fan of these leaf shaped stands. The orange compliments the tree perfectly and they look good with or without the cards slotted in them.
You can order whatever quantity you want. So you can just get 4 for the Everdell base game, or 6 to accommodate the 6 players from the Bellfaire expansion.
2. Basic Event model set
I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty terrible at forgetting about the Basic Events under the Ever Tree! I think it’s because I’m too busy looking at the resource piles and planning my next turn!
But if I had these delightful event models, there’s no way I’d forget about the basic events anymore. Quite the opposite, they might be all I think about!
I would totally play cards to claim one of these beauties as my own instead of playing strategically and getting more points!
Go gaze in wonder at this Basic Event Set from Game Up on Etsy, and see for yourself how gorgeous it is!
3. Resource holders
The Everdell resources are super cool. The berries, in particular, are absolutely stunning!
But oh boy, do they roll around! The number of times I’ve had to scurry under the table to pick a berry up before our dog Moxie eats it!
Resource holders are the solution! The same talented crafters that make the Basic Event models have created themed resource holders that look wonderful along the stream. The little twig barge is my favourite!
And if you’re wondering about the Pearls? Fret not, they’ve got you covered! They have a clam shell to hold the pearl resources from Pearlbrook!
4. Occupied tokens
Getting free critters is one of the awesome things about playing Everdell! But those little occupied tokens that come with the game are so small, they are quite hard to spot on construction cards. Plus, they are so light they easily get knocked out of place.
How about upgrading them with these adorable little doors? They are larger so they are easier to spot, plus they are made of polymer clay so they are heavier and more likely to stay in place!
Each one is hand shaped and hand painted which just makes them even more adorable!
5. Open signs
Of all the rules I forget in Everdell, the one I forget most often is the Open construction rule! It’s just not easy to see your opponents cards with open locations without peering over the table at them awkwardly!
The Pearlbrook expansion comes with little cardboard open/closed signs. But if you haven’t got Pearlbrook, or you want to upgrade them, these colourful little open signs are perfect!
Printed using PLA biodegradable plastic, they are environmentally friendly too. Bonus!
6. Personal resource holder
The resources you collect for your critters and constructions are precious. They always look a little forlorn to me just resting on the table beside my city. And because I’m clumsy I tend to knock and scatter them as I reach for Meadow cards.
But if they had their own little home, I’d not have to worry about that any more!
What better home for them than this adorable tree stump house?!
It fits perfectly with the theme, is hand-crafted and the attention to detail! Just wow! Look at those little garden plants!
7. Complete upgrade kit
If you want to upgrade Everdell but you don’t want to spend too much, this kit is a great idea.
It includes six holders for the Special Event cards, resources holders for all the base game resources and coins. Alternatively, you could use the 4th resource basket for pearls instead of coins if you have Pearlbrook.
All the pieces are made from a plant based, biodegradable plastic.
8. Insert box organizer
All the Everdell expansions take up quite a bit of room on your shelf if you keep all the boxes! But most of the space in the boxes is exactly that, just space!
This smartly designed Everdell insert will store pretty much everything from the base game and Pearlbook, Bellfaire and Spirecrest. It’ll even hold the KickStarter components!
The only pieces which don’t fit are the open/closed signs from Pearlbrook and the 3d Wonders.
It comes in a variety of colours too if black isn’t your thing.
9. Rugwort Rat Meeples for solo gaming
Playing Everdell solo against Rugwort? Wouldn’t it be nice if he had some little rat meeples to show what he’s up to?
Ta-dah! These adorable little rat meeples are available in a set of six. It’s up to you if you want them in plain black or with a fancy little gold crown!
10. Game mat
When you first start a game of Everdell, ever get that feeling that your city looks kind of sad when there’s only a couple of buildings and critters in it?
And do you always line your cards up from left to right one row at a time, even if it would make more sense for them to be nicely grouped? Me too.
Well say hello to this gorgeous player mat that makes even an empty city look beautiful! It’ll even help you to play your cards anywhere and keep them neatly lined up!
There are two designs to choose from. The forest one in the picture above, and a winter mountains design that matches the feel of Spirecrest.
11. Official Everdell Upgrades
Besides the expansions there are other official Everdell upgrades too!
The main one that stands out is Everdell Glimmergold. It has everything in it that the Everdell Collector’s Edition includes.

- 15 Extra! Extra! cards
- 3 Rugwort cards
- 6 Rat Workers

The feeling that Everdell conjures up of a woodland valley filled with critters is so wholesome and peaceful.
It’s a feeling that this poster captures wonderfully. I love how the greens and the golds capture the happy, natural vibe of the box art.

Show off your love of Everdell to the world with this t-shirt!
The meeple critters look adorable and the sunlight behind the Ever Tree gives such a positive vibe to the image!
The shirt is available in several colours so you can choose one that suits you the best!
